John Mackett, interim pastor
John and Betsy Mackett are delighted to come and serve St. Michael’s. They have been married nearly 30 years and have two adult sons. Throughout their life together they have served in the ministry of teaching the Bible to children, youth, and adults. Betsy loves exercising, eating vegetables, drinking coffee, and watching “When Calls the Heart.” John loves walking, enjoying sweets, drinking coffee, and watching mysteries. Betsy works full time at a local foundation. When not engaged in service to St. Michael’s, John will be busy trying to finish a discipleship curriculum for grades 5-12 that he has been writing for a year and a half.

Together they raised 4 children who are furthering God's work in various ministries and vocations. Sean is a psalmist, a writer, a teacher, and is learning to be a good leader and friend to anyone God brings to St. Michaels. His favorite treat is a LeDucs malt, and he is a UW Badger fan.
