John Mackett, interim pastor

John and Betsy Mackett are delighted to come and serve St. Michael’s. They have been married nearly 30 years and have two adult sons. Throughout their life together they have served in the ministry of teaching the Bible to children, youth, and adults. Betsy loves exercising, eating vegetables, drinking coffee, and watching “When Calls the Heart.” John loves walking, enjoying sweets, drinking coffee, and watching mysteries. Betsy works full time at a local foundation. When not engaged in service to St. Michael’s, John will be busy trying to finish a discipleship curriculum for grades 5-12 that he has been writing for a year and a half.

sean steinke, children and youth minister and music minister

Sean is honored to serve the families at St. Michaels as the Children and Youth Minister. He also leads the music ministry for Sunday worship.

He is married to Kristine and you will see them working together fairly often in teaching, encouraging and helping families at church and in the community.

Together they raised 4 children who are furthering God's work in various ministries and vocations. Sean is a psalmist, a writer, a teacher, and is learning to be a good leader and friend to anyone God brings to St. Michaels. His favorite treat is a LeDucs malt, and he is a UW Badger fan. If you like to hike, bike, or sing in a mic, he will join you.

jill sullivan, Parish Administrator

Having been part of a church family all her life, Jill is so pleased to serve a family based parish. Growing up in Oconomowoc, and a few other cities and states over the years, she is happy to again be living in Lake Country with her husband Bill and their twins. Aside from helping out at school and kids’ activities, she enjoys family fun, fishing, hiking, photography, volunteering and playing games. She also enjoys showing her kids how to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the world around us. Jill is enjoying her job as the parish administrator for St. Michael's and joyfully makes herself available to help those in her church community.
